The Opportunity

Commvault is looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist in support of our Global marketing teams. The candidate will be an integral part of our Marketing Operations team and partner with the broader marketing team in planning, budgeting, performance tracking & operations management. Strong communication and analytical skills are imperative for this position as well as the ability to work cross functionally to recommend process improvements and solve real time reporting challenges.

What you'll do

• Responsible for overseeing the budget tracking and analysis for multiple Global marketing teams
• Manage and ensure adherence to internal marketing spend request process
• Prepare reports to facilitate the approval of purchase requisitions, credit card transactions and monthly expense accrual.
• Work with marketing teams to understand business needs, projects, and goals so that they can make informed decisions regarding budgeting and planning.
• Assist the senior leadership team in the marketing strategy planning and long-term plans by providing financial insights and data-driven recommendations.
• Work cross functionally to meet tight deadlines on time sensitive spend requests requiring finance, legal and executive approval.

Who you are

Bachelor’s degree in operations, accounting, finance or related field.

5+ years of experience, preferably in a marketing operations/budgeting role.

Experience in Allocadia, Netsuite, and Smartsheet a plus

Strong knowledge of Excel, CRM, ERP and BI tools

Excellent written & verbal communication skills and can represent marketing operations in meetings and in front of various stakeholders

Team player who can build strong relationships with different teams to plan and execute on tasks

SaaS & Security experience is strongly preferred.
