Government Access Policy

Commvault is committed to protecting its customers’ privacy and valuable data. Customers are in control of the data they entrust with Commvault. Government requests for customer data must comply with applicable laws. In response to a valid and signed search warrant, subpoena, summons, court order, or other valid legal process, Commvault may disclose available customers’ information. Commvault will provide notice of a request for user data from a governmental entity unless prohibited from doing so by a court order or applicable law, where notification would be futile or ineffective, or where notification would create a risk of bodily harm or injury to Commvault, an individual, or group of individuals.
