Our 2024 U.S. Summer Internship Program: Why Investing in the Next Generation Matters

Our U.S. internship program concluded last week, and I’m so incredibly proud of the work done by our intern class this summer. At Commvault, we believe that investing in the next generation of leaders helps shape a better future for us all.

Commvault’s internship program provides students with real, meaningful work experience that empowers them as young professionals to learn and grow. Our interns get hands-on experience working on company-wide projects that matter to them and to Commvault. We prioritize training, collaboration, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities to enable our interns to expand their skillsets and professional network. These values are all core to this program.

Each year, our internship program concludes with a project contest – an exciting opportunity for our interns to present an idea, initiative, or improvement tied to their department and field of study to a panel of cross-functional leaders. I must say, the innovation we see each year is quite extraordinary.

This year, we saw projects spanning across our product portfolio, employer brand initiatives, and industry analyst accolades. It’s not only important for us to give our interns an exceptional experience during their time at Commvault, but we also want them to learn exceptional lessons as they prepare to go back to their universities or take the first step into their professional careers.

When I reflect on our internship program, I’m reminded why it’s so important to have managers, leaders, and mentors to provide advice and insight that these young professionals will carry with them throughout their careers. I’m so proud of our culture of continuous learning and caring here at Commvault and how it allows us to embrace and celebrate the ideas of our global Vaulter community.
